Cosplay and props
- Every prop is checked and tagged at the Prop Check table when you arrive; keep the tag on.
- Props must be clearly toys or made of foam, cardboard or other light materials. Lightsabers are fine.
- No guns or anything that looks like one (an orange tip isn't enough), no sharp points or edges, no props of metal, wood or fiberglass, and no smart glasses or recording eyewear.
- Costumes are PG during exhibit hall hours, with shoes on at all times. Anything sticking out more than 4 inches (wings, spikes) counts as a prop.
Food and water
- America's Center doesn't allow outside food or drink. GalaxyCon has asked for exceptions for special diets and young children.
- Food delivery (UberEats and the like) to the venue isn't allowed. If you go out to eat, finish it outside.
- Food is sold inside, including the Center Café, and there are drinking fountains (all wheelchair accessible).
- GalaxyCon's accessibility guide suggests packing medications, snacks and water, even though food is sold inside.
- We couldn't find vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free options or allergen information listed by GalaxyCon or America's Center.
