Getting there
- Parking at the convention center may be much reduced because of building work, so L.A. Comic Con suggests Metro, rideshare or carpooling.
- Metro: Pico station (A and E Lines) is about an 8-minute walk; 7th St/Metro Center is 10 to 15 minutes. Pico Blvd between Figueroa and LA Live Way is closed for the expansion work.
- Convention center garages are cashless (cards only), with flat rates of $30 to $60. The L.A. Live West and East garages charge up to $40 a day. L.A. Comic Con suggests booking ahead on SpotHero.
- Badge pickup is in the South Hall Lobby: Friday 8am to 9pm, Saturday 7:30am to 7pm, Sunday 7:30am to 4:30pm. Bring your order confirmation and photo ID.
- You can pick up badges for kids 15 and under; anyone 16 or older needs their ticket transferred to them and must be there in person.

Accessibility
- Get your badge and an ADA sticker at the ADA Desk in the South Hall Lobby, just inside the main South Hall entrance on Figueroa. Skip the Attendee Badge Pickup signs and look for the "ADA Registration" banner.
- Each ADA sticker comes with one companion sticker.
- Faster line access may be offered for most autographs and photo ops: arrive near the start of the guest's time and show your sticker to staff.
- ASL interpreters are at the Main Stage all show hours, and a few are available for one-to-one help at the ASL Interpreter Desk next to ADA Registration.
- The building has accessible parking, automatic doors, lifts to every area and accessible drinking fountains. For a wheelchair, ask Guest Services or the show's EMTs.
- Service animals are welcome under the ADA rules; pets aren't.

Good to know
- Kids 12 and under get in free with an adult ticket (pick a Kids Pass at checkout). Under 16s must be with a parent or guardian.
- Backpacks are allowed; bring the smallest bag you can to get through security faster. Strollers are fine, but big strollers, wagons and carts may be limited in crowded areas, panels and lines.
- Photos are fine in public areas unless signs say otherwise; they may be limited in panels, screenings, autographs and photo ops, or if a guest asks.
- No helium balloons in the building.

Money: cash and cards
- Some vendors and autograph guests take cash only, so bring both a card and some cash.
- There are cash machines on site, but they can have queues.
- Autographs and photo ops may be sold at the show, but L.A. Comic Con strongly suggests buying ahead.
Cosplay and props
- Everyone goes through a safety screening, and props that pass are tagged before the show floor. Security can send an unsafe prop back to your car or keep it.
- Fine: lightsabers, wands, unstrung bows, foam or tipless arrows, shields with no sharp edges, light plastic bats, staffs, whips attached to you, and swords of light foam, plastic or cardboard.
- Sci-fi blasters are fine if they don't look like real guns and can't fire.
- Not allowed: realistic or replica guns, tasers, glass or stone props, anything that launches objects, brass knuckles, pepper spray, metal or wood swords or anything sharp, and loud props like air horns and whistles.
- Cosplay is encouraged but never required.

Food and water
- The center's cafes include Compass Café, Galaxy Café, Tradewinds Café, Groundwork Coffee and Taste Market, with more places to eat next door at L.A. Live.
- You can bring a small sealed water bottle and your own lunch; no other outside food or drink, and nothing in bulk (like a case of water or a cooler).
- We couldn't find dietary options or water refill stations listed by L.A. Comic Con or the LA Convention Center.

Toilets
- The convention center's restrooms are ADA compliant.
- We couldn't find gender-neutral toilets listed by L.A. Comic Con or the LA Convention Center.
Quiet rooms and help
- The quiet room is in Panel Room 301A.
- First aid is in the South Hall Lobby corridor, toward Pico.
- Lost and found is at Security Office SOJ, just outside the lift on the South Hall show floor level.
Safety and LGBTQ+ fans
- L.A. Comic Con's anti-harassment policy bans offensive comments about gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, appearance, body size, race and religion, plus unwanted touching and harassing photos.
- If you're harassed or see it happen, tell an L.A. Comic Con staff member right away (look for staff t-shirts, badges or headsets). Staff can bring in security or police, walk with you, or help in other ways.
