Getting there

  • MegaCon Live Dublin is in Hall 8, the Simmonscourt complex, at the RDS in Ballsbridge. Simmonscourt has its own entrance on Simmonscourt Road.
  • DART: Lansdowne Road and Sandymount stations are both a short walk away.
  • Buses: Dublin Bus 4, 7 and 7a and Go-Ahead Ireland 18 stop on Anglesea Road; the S2 runs from Heuston Station via the RDS. There's no direct Luas: the nearest stop is Ranelagh, on the S2.
  • From the airport, Aircoach 702 stops on Merrion Road in front of the RDS main entrance. A taxi from the airport is about €30 to €40.

Parking

  • The RDS car parks (Merrion Road and Anglesea Road) are paid; the RDS lists daily parking at €10, subject to availability and events. Its pages give weekday hours only, so check before you drive at the weekend.
