  • Parking is $10 per car per day, first come, first served, and you can come and go all day. You can buy parking ahead online.
  • Pick up your wristband early at the box office, November 9 to 11, 12 to 8 pm (bring your online ticket). Otherwise, show your ticket on paper or phone at registration and swap it for a wristband; there may be a wait.

Accessibility

  • ADA wristbands are for anyone with a disability, including ones you can't see. They mean a shorter line for autographs and selfies, plus one companion wristband. You still need a show wristband.
  • Get one at the ADA service counter in the main registration area, open an hour before the show. There's seating there to wait before opening, and help charging a mobility device.
  • Panels have priority seating when available, but it isn't guaranteed; come at least 30 minutes early if you need accessible seating.
  • ASL interpreters are booked for most major panels. For smaller panels, photo ops and autographs, ask ahead through the contact page.
  • A few wheelchairs and scooters are on hand, first come, first served (no bookings). To rent one, Motor City suggests Mobility Plus, (248) 535-2960.
  • Service animals are welcome; emotional support animals and pets aren't. There's a grassy relief area on the north side of the building.

Cosplay and props

  • Every prop and weapon is checked at the door and gets a tag that stays on while you're inside. Security can turn away anything unsafe.
  • No sharp edges or points; blades must be dull. Replica guns must look obviously fake and can't fire; Nerf and other blasters must be made fully unable to fire.
  • Bows stay unstrung, crossbows uncocked, and no arrows or bolts. Foam, rubber and plastic props are best.
