Cosplay and props
- Props go to Weapons Check first; its call is final. Banned items are held for the day and given back when you leave.
- Props up to 1.5 m. Longer ones must be emailed to Supanova 14 days ahead.
- No real or decommissioned firearms, BB or airsoft guns, gel blasters, metal replica weapons (sharp or not), bats, real tools or barbed wire. No skates, skateboards or hoverboards.
- Prop guns need an orange or red tip (CosplayHQ has tape). Nerf is fine unloaded; bows and crossbows only if they can't fire.
- Masks and helmets must come off easily when staff ask; glued prosthetics need ID. Keep it family-friendly, and wear shoes.

Safety and LGBTQ+ fans
- Supanova's code of conduct bans harassment regardless of gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, appearance (costumes included), body size, race or religion. Harassing photos or recording count too.
- To report it, whether it happened to you or you saw it, tell Supanova staff (branded collared shirts, often with radio headsets) or go to the Information Desk. Volunteers in bright T-shirts can find staff for you. Staff can call security or police and arrange an escort.
